🚨 Post-mortem Report: FIS Taken from the Treasury via Governance Process
On July 30th, unauthorized transactions were identified, leading to a total of 2,636,440 FIS tokens being unjustifiably allocated from StaFi Chain's Treasury to specific Ethereum addresses via StaFi's governance system through our tipping model.
✅ We want to assure all our stakeholders that despite this incident, the integrity of rToken and FIS contracts remain intact. Our rToken pools and related contracts have not been affected and continue to operate securely. We prioritize the safety of your assets and are committed to maintaining trust in our system.
In response, we have:
1️⃣ Revoked the involved addresses from our platform.
2️⃣ Halted related governance models, preventing further transactions.
3️⃣ Initiated contact attempts with the relevant address owners.
Rest assured, we are vigorously taking measures to prevent such events in the future. Upgrades to our governance model are in progress, and we are enhancing our scrutiny of DAO-related asset security. 🛠
